I visited for a day spa. The staff were helpful and always going the extra mile. The manager, Vicky, provided very good service. Lunch came with the day spa package and was delicious.

the location is very scenic near the river clyde. the room was equipped with a nice assortment of beverages and biscuits! breakfast was tasty and hot. the staff members were helpful and professional, which i appreciated.
the visitor shop had limited local crafts.

the keycard system wasn't working. i needed a staff member to let me into my room. this was quite inconvenient. the breakfast service was slow. i waited half an hour for porridge!!!

The location beside the river was acceptable.
The bathroom featured only a basic shower over the bath it lacked a decent walk in shower. Main toilet facilities looked like motorway service toilets, it didn't match with the grandeur of the building. The cooked breakfast was not very good and the potato cake was soggy.

The breakfast was a letdown. the food seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. It was barely warm! also, the wi-fi was spotty. I couldn't reliably check emails in my room. it was annoying to deal with this !
